"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

I was born in Coral Springs, Florida but moved to Denton, Texas at a young age, where I still reside with my wife Madi and dog, Junior. We enjoy traveling, DIY home renovations, and searching for new restaurants. Baseball is my passion and you will often find me on a baseball field, either as a fan or a coach. While baseball is my first love, I enjoy watching just about any sport out there.

This is my first year teaching my own classroom, but this will be my second year at Zion. While I am a first-year teacher, I have been working with kids for 10+ years as a coach and I am grateful for the opportunity to have a classroom of my own. I graduated in 2014 from Texas Wesleyan University where I also played baseball, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise. I also received my MBA from Saint Leo University in 2017.  I also coach flag football and boys' basketball at Zion.

Prior to teaching, I worked for the Texas Rangers and Frisco Roughriders in youth coaching roles as well as working closely with the Community Outreach Departments for both organizations. I have been a head coach in the MLB RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) Program as well as participated in various initiatives for local charitable organizations.

My goal is to prepare children for the all-day learning environment of preschool while still allowing them to grow and learn at a pace that works for them. I believe the best way to ensure a student’s success is to treat parents as teammates who together want the very best for the child. I’m grateful for being able to teach in an environment where I can teach life lessons to students that are anchored in scripture. Throughout the year, my goal is that the children will learn self-confidence, independence and most importantly, the beauty of God’s infinite love.
