I grew up in the small town of Seward, Nebraska. My family moved to the town of Cedarburg Wisconsin when I was going into 6thgrade. I attended Lutheran schools throughout grade school and middle school, and attended Living Word Lutheran High School. All throughout my schooling I ran cross country and track and played basketball. I returned to Seward and earned a degree in early childhood education at Concordia University Nebraska.
I enjoy the outdoors and exploring God’s beautiful creation. I love hiking, taking walks, going to the lake, hammocking, and camping. I also enjoy reading and watching a good show!
I believe children are unique individuals with all kinds of different needs. Getting to know those individual needs is one of my top priorities! I also believe that young children learn best when they are interacting and playing with those around them. In my classroom, we do a lot of hands-on activities, reading, singing, imaginary/dramatic play, art, and exploration!
